As information professionals, we live in the age of digital information. About the Author


Vinod Kumar Mishra has worked at institutes like IIT Kanpur and Roorkee, ISRO and at present is working in NIT Rourkela. He has many publications in his credit, has automated and digitized many libraries, and has gained experience on open source solution for libraries. He has qualifications from BHU, Varanasi. Bhojaraju Gunjal is currently working as Deputy Librarian at Biju Patnaik Central Library, National Institute of Technology Rourkela with over 20 years of experience in deep understanding of social media, mobile, and emerging technologies. He possesses a Ph.D in Library and Information Science from University of Mysore and also is a recipient of Endeavour Research Fellow from Australian Government and other international fellowships. He has published and presented technical papers in both national and international conferences, books, journals, and also attended various professional training programs. For more details refer http://bhojaraju.weebly.com. Kshirod Das is currently working as a Senior Technical Assistant in the Biju Patnaik Central Library of National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He has B. Com, MLIS, and DCA degrees. Also qualified UGD-NET (for lectureship) and recently registered for Ph. D. degree in Library & Information Science. He has over 15 years of professional experience. He has published over 05 publications in national and international conferences and one book chapter. Puspita Mishra is working as Assistant Librarian in-charge of acquisition and technical sections at BPCL. She is responsible for acquisition/technical processing related tasks, and conducting book fair/exhibition. She also manages the collections related to Book Bank and NITR Publications. DibyaKishor Pradhan, Asst. Librarian, National Institute of Technology Rourkela has been in the profession science 2004. He holds Master Degree (MLISc) and M. Phil in Library and Information Science from P.G. Department of Library & Information Science, Sambalpur University. He is as UGC-NET qualified in 2009, and presently perusing his Ph.D. He has published scholarly articles & reviews in both national and international publications.
