The 3d Division, A.E.F., forerunner of the famous Third Infantry Division of World War II and Korea, was one of the most decorated Army Divisions in "The Great War" - World War I. The two volumes in this set include the citations for their awards including Medals of Honor, Distinguished Service Crosses, one Navy Cross, Army Distinguished Service Medals, and Silver Star/Citation Stars. Volume I contains the citations for all MOH/DSC/NX/DSM awards, and the citations for Silver Stars/Citation Stars for last names A - G.
