This book takes the complexity of State Plane Coordinates and breaks it down into simple to follow steps for utilizing NGS and OPUS Data Sheets to establish project control point(s) on horizontal and vertical datums. This is not a book on Geodesy or field procedures. It is a simple explanation of Grid to Ground transformations using a project Grid Adjustment Factor (GAF) (a.k.a. combined factor).
