To the veterans, the Korean War was anything but the "Forgotten War." The passion of their memories comes through in this two-part program. The Wisconsin Korean War Stories documentary remembers and commemorates the service people who went to a place halfway around the world — a country only twice the size of Wisconsin — to engage in hot battles of the Cold War.

The Wisconsin Korean War Stories project is a partnership of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, the Wisconsin Historical Society and Wisconsin Public Television. This project includes the companion book Wisconsin Korean War Stories.
