For hundreds of years, social constructs have trained us to listen to and outsource our control to so-called "experts" regarding every aspect of our lives. But just about everything you need to survive, you are born with. Ever sit back and watch an animal in your yard, home, or park? A squirrel finds and stores nuts for the winter; a cat's tail stands at attention when it deems something a threat; a bird gathers straw to make a nest. None of these animals have attended school, worked for a corporation, or become addicted to social media. If you sit still for more than a few minutes and begin questioning your actions, you might be surprised to learn that they were not of your choosing.
