Patricia E. Newman is an electrical engineer, translator, andsenior member of the technical staff at the Sandia NationalLaboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is also a formerPresident of the American Translators Association. John R. Callaham is a chemical engineer, editor, and former SeniorVice President-Editorial at McGraw-Hill.
